Public Partners of PA

ALOM

Public Partners is managed by the Allegheny League of Municipalities (ALOM). ALOM is a 501(c)6 membership based nonprofit association that serves Allegheny County and Southwestern Pennsylvania. ALOM’s mission is to foster local government by educating elected officials, delivering essential resources and advocating for sound policy and legislation.

The Public Partners program was started in 2010 by a group of retired local government professionals under the administration of Babst Calland Law firm. In 2020, Babst Calland made a thoughtful transition of the services to the ALOM umbrella, yet still serves as a key sponsor of the program. As a nonprofit, ALOM is committed to providing the Public Partners services to municipalities and authorities in a reasonable and cost effective manner, and although the Public Partners services are open to all local governments in Western PA, ALOM members receive a special pricing rate.
